they do misidentify a few - well... 3 of 6, but we'll give them LOOK LIKE huskies for partial credit :p
KENNEL CLUB SHOW - British Pathe

the ones in bold are the errors -
Quote :
bold added -

M/S of six white fluffy dogs which look a bit like huskies,
a woman holds them and a policeman helps her keep them under control.
M/S of a bloodhound, M/S of a big St Bernard.
M/S of a Dalmatian, C/U of another dog's face. M/S of an Afghan hound,
M/S of a boxer dog.

M/S = Medium-Shot, in the middle distance; C/U = Close-Up.

to see SUPER CLOSE-UPS: look under 'embed KENNEL CLUB...' - click on View as stills.
set it for every: 1 sec - then click on any 1 still-shot and it will fill 2/3 of the screen.
there are 16 stills per page, and more stills at the upper-right corner is clickable -
just turn the pages of the 'album'.

the "6 white fluffy dogs" = Samoyeds; they don't look very dissimilar except for being lighter in build overall,
and with more moderate coat - just slightly smaller and a bit less poufy.
the "Dalmatian" is a harlequin Great Dane! - a M teen-pup with natural ears;
the close-up is a mature merle-Dane's face; he is cropped and has a butterfly-nose. notice the shorter crop,
thicker ear, + shorter foreface [vs the long rectangular box of current-Danes, ahead of the eyes];

the "Boxer" is an English Bulldog - with a foreface, a rear in proportion to fore,
and more moderate forehand: less out-at-elbows, less exaggerated shoulder + skull width,
more normal jaws/dentition.

enjoy,
- terry

me, neither Shocked but it did tickle me Very Happy
BTW - there's an interesting sequence of body-parl if U look thru the stills of the Male Saint -
the boy beside him looks distinctly apprehensive when someone OFF camera walks toward them.
check it out... tail, ears, mouth, posture, eye-expression, whisker-bed all change.

my guess is he was stranger-shy, and probably a fear-biter.

the 'breed' existed as a type long before the banning of bull- and bear-baiting.
that type was then shrunk, accordioned, twisted, squashed, bulked-up and minimized.

bully-skulls 1890 + 1935 -
Google Image Result for http://www.andersonbulldogges.com/skull-small.png

bully-skulls 1860 to modern era -
Google Image Result for http://www.leavittbulldogs.co.uk/communities/4/004/006/961/364/images/4525104596.jpg

wanna buy one just for U?

the out-at-elbows, waddling dog with a massive head, crumpled face, corkscrew tail,
dermal folds, itty-bitty butt, huge barrel torso, etc, was selected for from that original,
free-breathing, athletic, powerful, active dog -
which IMO was a long, slow crime against dogdom.
a breed who cannot breed or whelp without help is truly bathetic.
