Do you have a breed you absolutely adore but simply can't have? I think that many dog owners do...or they own a their favorite breed already (or some cases, many dogs of that breed.lol.). Tell us your favorite breed and if you currently have it and if not, why not.

I am going to have to vote Husky on this one. I am only allowed one dog lol but hes the perfect one for me. Honestly after much thought I don't think I could get another dog after Star passes on. It would be to much pain that I don't think I could go through again.

I love dogs so much though that I would like to raise and train a dog to help the blind and other services. Might only be with me a short time but I still get to have a dog around, different breed each time and no death and I am helping someone else.

Those are excellent goals Carrie, helping raise guide dogs.

I do know what you mean about not wanting to go through the pain of lossing another dog and I know too many people that don't get dogs because of that... Its definitely something to think about but I think that the good memories outweight the bad ones. I'm not sure though...

I have to say Alaskan Malamute, American Foxhound, and a Beauceron.

I would like a husky and / or corgi Grin

but if I could invent my own breed..because I love huge ears ..i would mix a mini schnauzer (with ears like my lil guys) and a corgi..haha.. would be soooo cute!
